Past Series

About a week ago, we completed our series about Who We Are In Christ, and What is our purpose in this life. I feel very blessed to have been able to share and learn about everyone's ideas and descriptions of who they are, but most importantly who they are in Christ. All I have to say is WOW! All you MQV youth reading this, You are awesome!!! Soon we will have pictures and bulletin board displaying what has been going on....
New Series
This week we started looking into the topic of loving and helping others, through the film the Blindside. We looked at the following scriptures:
"Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...."(James 1:27)
"This is how we come to know love: He laid His life down for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has this world's goods and sees his brother in need but shuts off his compassion from him--How can God's love reside in him"(1 John 3:16)

Series Pasada

Hace una semana, completamos nuestra serie acerca de quienes somos en Cristo, y ¿Cuál es nuestro propósito en esta vida. Me siento muy agradecida por haber compartido y aprender acerca de las ideas de todos y la descripción de quiénes son, pero lo más importante quien son en Cristo. Todo lo que tengo que decir es WOW! Pronto tendremos fotos y tablón de anuncios que muestra lo que ha estado sucediendo ....
Nueva Series
Esta semana empezamos a buscar en el tema de amar y ayudar a los demás, a través de la película Blindside. Leimos y platicamos sobre las escrituras siguientes:
"En esto conocemos lo que es el amor: en que Jesucristo entregó su *vida por nosotros. Así también nosotros debemos entregar la vida por nuestros hermanos."-1 Juan 3:16
"La religión pura y sin mancha delante de Dios nuestro Padre es ésta: atender a los huérfanos y a las viudas en sus aflicciones" Santiago 1:27
